Ann Gardner, 66, of Taylor, passed away Tuesday, March 17, at Geisinger Community Medical Center after becoming ill at home.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Gardner.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Joan (Raub) Muffley. Ann was a graduate of the former Scranton Technical High School and received her LPN certification from Scranton Vo-Tech. She retired as the Office Manager for the Lackawanna County Drug Court.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two stepsons, Roger Gardner of Clarks Summit and Keith Gardner of Scranton; her brother, John Muffley of Scranton; and her beloved fur baby, Shelby.

A memorial celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Thursday, April 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 262 Railroad Avenue, Scranton.
