Obituary

Arthur H. Spindler, 73, of Taylor, passed Tuesday, with his family at his side.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Arthur A. and Florence Spindler. Arthur was educated in West Scranton High School, A United States Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam war, a former member of St. Patrick's Parish, West Scranton, the UkaVets and was employed as a presser for C&D Sportswear.

He is survived by four sons; Scott Spindler and wife Roxanne, FL, Christian Spindler, Taylor, A.J. Spindler, Taylor, Jamie Spindler and wife Christina, Scranton, two daughters; Jennifer Dunston and husband William Jr., Roaring Brook, Holly Zellner and husband Jeffrey, Wilkes-Barre, three sisters; Betty Spindler, Scranton, Barbara Spindler, Scranton, Florence Spindler, one brother; William Spindler, 14 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, George Spindler, and two grandchildren. The family would like to thank Sacred Heart at home Hospice for their help and care for Arthur on his journey home to God.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, 4 to 6:30 pm with Services beginning at 6:30 by the Rev. Fr. Richard Fox, Pastor of St. Patrick's Parish, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Inurnment in Cathedral Cemetery will be private.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, 4 to 6:30 pm with Services beginning at 6:30 by the Rev. Fr. Richard Fox, Pastor of St. Patrick's Parish in the funeral home. Inurnment in Cathedral Cemetery will be private.
