Catherine Marie Gattens, 91 of Scranton, died Monday morning at the Lackawanna Health Care & Rehab Center. She was the widow of Edward A. Gattens who died in 2007. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary O'Hora McCormick. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, she was a former member of Nativity of Our Lord Church, Scranton. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Gattens and Robert Gattens, both of Scranton, three daughters, Ann Marie Blasi, Scranton, Jeanie Steinmetz, Wyckoff, NJ, Gail Rogan, Dunmore, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings.

Interment will be held in Cathedral Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
