Cecilia Veronica Shugdinis, Westland, Michigan passed on October 6, 2025, at the age of 98. Born in Scranton, PA, she is the daughter of the late Valentine and Michalina Filla Zera and the widow of Thomas L. Shugdinis who passed on September 14, 2001.

She was a member of St. Mary, Cause of Our Joy Catholic Church, Westland, Michigan, where a Mass of Christian Burial was held on October 10, 2025. Before moving to Michigan, she was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Scranton, PA.

She was the proud Mother of Deborah Shugdinis. Westland, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many friends. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 1309 West Locust Street, Scranton, PA 18504, on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 11 am. Inurnment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery Mausoleum.
