Danielle Sofchak, 42, of Scranton, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Born in Scranton she is the daughter of Deborah Wagner Evans and step-daughter of John Evans, West Scranton. Danielle was a 1993 graduate of West Scranton High School, of the Catholic Faith and had formerly been employed as a Deputy Sheriff for Lackawanna County. She is also survived by one son, Devon O'Connor, Taylor, one sister, Melissa Zawadzki, Scranton, one brother, Michael William Sofchak, Taylor, two nieces, Mikayla and Mia. She was predeceased by her father, Michael Joseph Sofchak. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. Ann's Basilica, St. Ann's Street, West Scranton. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be on Thursday, 5 to 7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton
