Obituary

Deborah A. Siess, 65, of Scranton, passed into the Kingdom of Heaven, on Tuesday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband of 40 years is Frank P. Siess. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Marie Rosengrant. Deborah was educated at West Scranton High School and was a Certified Nurses Aid in several local nursing homes.

She is survived by her husband Frank, daughters, Nakota Rosengrant Siess, Scranton, surrogate daughter, Christine Morden, Harding, adopted daughter, Crystal Presto, Scranton, son in law Joseph Williams, Jessup two grandchildren, Cheykota and Kiera Siess, Great niece Rebecca Davis, Nicholson, Great nephew Matthew Morden, Harding three sisters, Ann Marie Krienburg, Tunkhannock, Karen Reed, Towanda, Wilma Schmidt, Oregon and one brother, Harry Rosengrant, Scranton surrogate sister Caroline Ward. Her beloved dog Foxy. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, two infant daughters, Selina, and Marsha, two sisters, Marjorie Hannon, Shirley Reid, Brother-in-law James Krienburg, and one nephew, James Kreinburg.

Services will be held on Saturday, at 10 am officiated by the Rev. William Mentz,  at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton    Interment will follow at Decker Town Cemetery, Lathrop Twp., Susquehanna County. The viewing for family and friends will be on Friday from 4 to 7 pm.

Wear colors Blue or Purple, which were her favorite colors.
