Diane Fratamico, 72 of West Scranton, passed on Friday, at Hospice of The Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Her loving husband of 50 years is Curtis Fratamico. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Cecelia Jargiello Kubowicz. Diane was a 1968 graduate of St. Patrick's High School attended Keystone College and was employed as a teacher's aide for the Lackawanna County Head Start Program. She is survived by her loving husband, Curtis, their children, Renee Williams and husband Jason, Clarks Summit, Peter Fratamico and wife Jennifer, South Canaan, six grandchildren, one brother, Ronald Kubowicz, Scranton, nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one sister, Maryann Zawadzki. A private Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday in SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton by the Rev. Fr. Sam J. Ferretti and Deacon Carmine Mendicino. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Services were under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
