Elizabeth "Betty" Rosengrant, 78, of West Scranton, passed Wednesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She is the widow of the late Clark Rosengrant, who passed in 2021. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Lucille Ward. Betty was a graduate of West Scranton High School and retired from Topps Candy Manufacturing.

She is survived by four sons; Richard Rosengrant (Liz) Dover, Del, Robert Ward (Cindy), Scranton, William Rosengrant (Francine), Archbald, Michael Rosengrant (Tami), Scranton, one daughter; Cindy Stout (Ted) Thornhurst, three brothers John, Bernard, and Robert Ward, one sister, Kathleen Fuller, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, with one on the way, 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Brandon, Foster mother, Lydia T. Evans, and two brothers Thomas and Ralph Ward.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
