Obituary

Frieda E. Bochon, of West Scranton, died Friday at the home of her daughter Susan Meredick, Danville. Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late John and Jennie Wickizer. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Scranton, and had worked at Williams Bakery, Scranton, and retired from International Salt Co. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Meredick and husband David, Danville, two sons, Paul Bochon and wife Debbie, Clarks Summit, and John Bochon and wife Lori, Moscow, five grandchildren, Adam and Christopher Bochon, Zachary, Abigail and Jared Meredick, one sister, Marilyn Holly and husband Phil, Montrose, one sister inlaw, Ruth Bochon, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers Ralph, Howard, and Walter Wickizer, two sisters, Elizabeth Ord and Ruth Regan. Her funeral will be on Tuesday, at 9:15 am from the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, with Services at 10 am at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Lester Stephenson, Pastor. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, 4 to 8 pm. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 425 Jefferson Ave., Scranton, PA 18503.
