Gloria G. Drost, 76, of Olyphant, passed on Friday, July 23 at Hospice of The Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore. Her husband of 54 years, Frank Drost, passed on April 18, 2021. Born in Wayne County, she is the daughter of the late Anthony and Stella Michalske. Gloria was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bauman and husband Robert Sr., her son, Frank Drost Jr. and wife Kristina, all of South Carolina, two grandsons; Robert Bauman Jr. and Bradley Bauman, South Carolina, five nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, parents and three siblings, Stella Sawicki, George Mahalske and Francis Mahalske. Private interment was in Cathedral Cemetery. The family would like to thank Lackawanna Health and Rehab center, and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for taking care of Mom and making sure that she had peace in her final days. Arrangements were under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
