Jeffrey T. Gatto, 73, of Scranton passed away Thursday, October 22nd, 2026, at home. He was the beloved husband of Anne Melish Gatto. Born to Vincent James Gatto and Barbara Henry Gatto, Jeffrey was a graduate of Dunmore Central Catholic High School and worked as a custodian for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is survived by his sons, Christopher J. Gatto and his wife Lindsey of New Jersey and Jeffrey S. Gatto of Dunmore; his daughter, Stephanie A. Gatto of Scranton; 5 Grandchildren; Ava, Anthony, Lorelai, Quinn and Aubrey, his brother, Vincent "Jimmy" Gatto and Cousins. Jeffrey was a devoted Steelers and Penn State fan who loved following his teams. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, 4 to 6 pm, with a Blessing Service commencing at 6 pm, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
