John P. Lisowski, 76, an extraordinary man, of Lehigh Township, passed on Monday evening, November 22, 2021 at home with his family at his side. His wife of 42 years is Sharon Miller Lisowski. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he is the son of the late Leon and Mary Lisowski. Educated in Jersey City schools, he was employed by Crucible Steel, where he worked his entire working life. John was a member of the IBEW Local 164 and was an Army veteran having served as an Infantryman with 1 ^st Battalion, 113 ^th Infantry. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, a son, Christopher Lisowski and wife Julie, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter, Carri Lisowski and a son, Scott Cavanaugh. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
