Joseph S. Petrasko Jr, 71, of Scranton, passed on Saturday at Geisinger/CMC. His wife of 43 years is Mary Ann Bradley Petrasko. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr and Mary Petrasko. Joseph was a graduate of Scranton Preparatory High School, the University of Scranton, where he received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees, SUNY, Binghamton, receiving his PhD, and was a member of the Church of St. Gregory, Clarks Summit. Joseph is survived by his daughters Stefanie (Randy Hill), Michele (Danny Tarantino), and grandson Brody Hill. Viewing  for family and friends will be on Wednesday, 5 to 7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at  10 am at the Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Summit. Interment will be private. Those attending the Mass are requested to go directly to the church.
