Leslie Herbster, 70, of West Scranton, died Thursday morning in the Geisinger/CMC/VNA Hospice Unit. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Elmer and Stena J. Herbster. Leslie was a graduate of St. Mary of The Assumption High School and attended Lackawanna College. He was an Army Veteran and worked in electrical repair at Tobyhanna Army Depot. He is survived by 1 brother, Greg Herbster and wife Mary, of Scranton, 2 nieces, Alison, Katy and Greg Jr., 1 great nephew, Ryan. Funeral services were held on Saturday in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home by the Very Rev. Nestor S. Kowal. Inurnment will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Military Honors were held at the Chomko Funeral Home Veterans Memorial by the Army and the Dickson City Veterans Honor Guard.
