Obituary

Lorraine B. Gula, 91, passed on Sunday morning at Elan Skilled Nursing, Scranton. Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late Charles Burich and Marion Otrok Burich. She was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a graduate of Taylor High School, Marywood College with a BS in Nutritional Science and retired as a teacher in the public school system. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Nicholas Gula Jr, her daughter, Cathyann Gula and her sister, Rosemarie Keslosky.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9:30 am at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 540 North Main Avenue, West Scranton, celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Philip Harendza, Pastor. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Arrangements under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, West Scranton
