Margaret D. Callahan, 89, of Scranton, passed on Saturday, May 14, at home, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Bernard G. Callahan. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Eleanor Francis. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and was a special needs student driver for Moranco Transportation for 30+ years.

She is survived by four sons; Bernard J. Callahan and wife Nancy, Moscow; Frank T. Callahan, Clarks Summit; Gregory J. Callahan and wife Audrey, Finksburg, MD; David C. Callahan and wife Sonya, Slocomb, AL and 10 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents and one son, Kevin T. Callahan.

Viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, 6-8PM at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Interment will be Friday, 11 AM at St. Catherine's, Moscow, with services officiated by Chaplain Gerlin Valencia, PhD.
