Marie Troy, 68, of Exeter, died Thursday, at home after an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 49 years is William Troy. Born in Patterson, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Sauter. Marie was a 1965 graduate of Pittston High School, worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry and was of the Catholic Faith. She is also survived by two daughters, Anita Troy, Exeter, Michelle Troy, Pittston Twp., one Sister, Rosemary Sauter-Frett, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, one brother, Joseph Sauter, Scranton, 3 grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Private funeral services were held on Monday. Arrangements entrusted to the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
