Obituary

Olga Supinski, 94, of West Scranton, passed away on Thursday evening at Geisinger/CMC. Her husband of 37 years, Walter Supinski, died in 1997. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Maxim and Anna Ruchinski Wasylyniak. Educated in West Scranton High School, she was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, the church Blessed Virgin Mary Guild, a volunteer at church events and retired from Brooks Manufacturing, Old Forge. She leaves behind nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her dedicated and caring best friend, Irene Jankowski and caring neighbors, Paul and Kathy Martin and Nick Dunkailo. She was predeceased by one brother, Michael Wasylyniak, three sisters, Stella Hurchick, Anna Rogasis, Mary Viobro, and three adolescent sisters. Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, 430 N. 7 th . Avenue, Scranton from 9 am until time of Liturgy at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Taylor.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
