Obituary

Stan Narsavage, 87, of Clarks Summit, formerly of Tripp Park, died Monday after being stricken ill at home. His wife of 59 years, Lorraine Gross Narsavage, died June 13, 2007. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Stanley and Sophie Golob Narsavage. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, he was a Navy veteran of WW II, retired as a service vendor for Stewart Sandwiches and Vending and was a member of St. Patrick's Parish, West Scranton. He is survived by one daughter, Ellen Grasso and husband, Shawn, Scranton, one son, Paul, Williamsport, two granddaughters, Audra Tyrrell, CT., Amanda Benson, Scranton, one great grandson, Noah Benson, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Irene Zabawa. His funeral will be on Friday at 10:15 am from the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Patrick's Church. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday, 5 to 7 pm.
