Thomas P. Balko, 68, of South Scranton, passed on Friday evening, May 14, 2021, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. PA. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late John Sr. and Sarah Ostromecki Balko. A graduate of the former Scranton Technical High School, he attended St. Paul of the Cross Parish, South Scranton and retired from SNF Holding Company, Taylor after more than 40 years.

He is survived by his sister, Ann Balko Harrington, Scranton, a nephew, Michael Harrington, Scranton, Sister Inlaw, Mary Ann Balko, Scranton, and longtime close friends, Robert Sheridan and Ellery "Darryl" Coolbaugh; companion, Carrie Macavage, two daughters, Toni and Lindsey, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by one brother, John J. Balko Jr.
