Timothy Burke, 51, of Scranton, died Tuesday in Commonwealth Hospice, Scranton, from a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas P. and Stella Zackowski Burke. Tim was educated in the Scranton Schools, was a former member of St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Cathedral and until his illness, he worked in general construction. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Miller Burke, Factoryville, two children, Timothy Burke II, Ransom Township, Tamara Loman, Scranton, ten grandchildren, one sister, Marie Cigna, Scranton, one brother, Patrick Burke, Scranton, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, Frank and Joseph Burke. Private services were held from the Edward J Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
